Measure Your Boat for Transport

When you’re measuring, you must include:
- Swim platforms
- Outboard motors

If it’s on a trailer, include from the tip of the tongue to the end of the motor. The maximum height for most overpasses is 13 feet six inches. Remove all cables from batteries, fuel from the gas tank, and liquids from the holding tanks. You may want to shrink wrap your boat to avoid damage and keep it clean during the move.
